Hello! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. We spent a few rainy days exploring our little city, and we'd love to share a few photos with you.

First we started with brunch at Lucky's Cafe because a weekend without brunch isn't a weekend at all. We should have known there would be a rainy wait and come prepared with an umbrella, but we didn't. Our hair obvs didn't like that one bit.
Then we wandered around a few shops in the area. We can't turn down a bookstore.
We also stopped at Yellowcake, the amazing shop owned and run by Valerie Mayen of season 8 Project Runway fame. Everything there is gorgeous, especially little Mango sleeping on the sofa. I also loved seeing the actual sketches from the show. So cool!
Isn't that cape amazing? How was your weekend? Have you ever explored your own city? We loved it, and we'll definitely be doing more soon.

Your photos are awesome on their own and even better as a set--I love the warm honey tones you have going on. They look so cozy.
ReplyDeleteExploring LA is always a blast, as there's a seemingly endless supply of places to uncover. I think because it's so big and spread out, it seems like there's no way to really "know" it. It's fun visiting a friend in another part of town and seeing "their" little corner of the city.
