Hey guys! We can't wait to share pictures and stories from our little weekend camping adventure to Assateague Island, but today we're going to start it off with an OOTD. Because Skyla doesn't camp. She glamps.
I'm gonna be real with you guys right now: I am not much of a camper. Despite being in a youth club that camped on the regular and being technically good at camping (is that even a thing?) I hate the feeling of dirty hair. Thankfully this was not an issue during out trip to Assateague, because our campsite had excellent facilities. So I guess it's not that I'm not a fan of camping, I'm just not a fan of yucky hair.
I decided to represent my love of "glamping" (a place to shower= glamping, right?) with an outfit inspired by Katharine Hepburn. Katharine Hepburn is the epitome of glamorous outdoorsy to me, so I tried to emulate her with a chambray button down, a clean white statement necklace, gladiator sandals, and high waisted denim shorts. This whole look is from Target, because what's more glamorous than a bargain?
I recently went camping too! I have pictures on my blog and will post more soon :) Wow, but you look great and what a cute outfit for camping!
