It's the last day of our Small Screen Style Collaboration with a few of our favorite bloggers and brands, and we couldn't be more excited to share this one! Carrie Bradshaw is arguably the ultimate female TV style icon. And the most interesting thing about her style is that everyone interprets it completely differently. We'll share a little more on our inspiration and interpretation below, but first:
We want to thank the lovely ladies above for helping to make this collaboration possible, as well as our fabulous sponsors Boy Meets Girl and Roman & Luxe! The winner of the $600 jewelry giveaway will be drawn on Monday, so stop by all weekend and get your entries in!

For many, Carrie's most iconic look was the $5 tutu skirt (actually surprisingly tame compared to the fabulous midi trend we have going now!) that she rocked in the opening credits. But our little fashion hearts sang when she hit the streets of Abu Dhabi rocking a ball gown with a Dior T-shirt over top. We are suckers for juxtaposition.
So we combined the two outfits and paired Skyla's graphic Velvet Underground crop top with a floaty tulle skirt and a glamorous necklace. A little all over the place? Sure. But that's Carrie.

I love your look! The girly, sparkly necklace with a modern, graphic tee with cut in shoulders and the midi skirt- I know Carrie would have approved it all!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for participating in this collab with me! It has been such an amazing week and so much fun!
Thank YOU! It was fun, wasn't it?
DeleteLove this! You're right, that Abu Dhabi outfit was amazing - can't believe I almost forgot about it! I'm also so glad they didn't change the opening credits over the years... so iconic!
ReplyDeleteI know, right? I JUST finished a SATC bingewatchathon of all of the episodes and love that the credits were always the same!
DeleteI'm hugely jealous of your top knot. I'm growing my hair out just so I can rock one. The only concern I have it that by the time I can do it, it will be out of style.
ReplyDeleteNo worries, top knots are here to stay! They're just too practical to be a trend.
DeleteLove your necklace!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was a gift. I love it!
DeleteLove the necklace and skirt. Gorgeous
